On Painting Photography (The Women of Her Life), 2024

The installation comprises 77 portraits of women and references the book "Our Time in 77 Women's Portraits" (Unsere Zeit in 77 Frauenbildnissen) from 1930, which portrayed influential women of the Weimar Republic. Based on this historical foundation, a contemporary anthology is developed, drawing from the memories of an anonymous person. This new collection showcases women who shaped the life of the remembering individual from the 1970s to the 1990s.
